Pyramid / Returning to the design table

An old world. New questions.

The modern Pyramid is a return to a game I first imagined at fifteen, informed by a lifetime of playing, watching the industry change, and studying the cultures that shape our stories.

In development
A fantasy view of weathered Egyptian temple columns and pyramids across a desert.

Imagined setting artwork · A creative illustration, not an archaeological reconstruction.

Mystery at the center

The foundational discussions around Pyramid return to a simple idea: mystery gives this world its emotional force. Lost knowledge, unfamiliar beliefs, and unanswered questions can make exploration matter as much as a battle.

A conversation with the original

The new game will grow from the original without requiring every early decision to remain fixed. Mechanics, setting, and the experience of play are all part of that inquiry. No final rules system or release date is announced.

Pyramid is the working name

The modern project is presented here as Pyramid. A final edition title will be chosen as the game develops. Design notes and playable material can be added to this section when they are ready.
